It's just me or is there something wrong with LRM and SSRM from today's patch?

Testing grounds: I wasted 600 LRM to kill the catapult on alpine peaks from 700m with 2x artemis LRM15 and a TAG. The same happened the next time I tried.

Me and my clan mates feel that there is something strange with streaks too, it takes ages even to kill a light with 4 launchers.

Don't know about standard SRM since I don't use them at the moment.

Anyone?

(If true, you should be a bit more careful with patches, there is our first tournament ongoing)

I noticed this today with the LRM's, they are registering as hitting, but the damage seems extremely low.

I noticed the same thing.

I track my statistics almost every day that I play. The following are in-game numbers from the website stats pages.

Yesterday, I fired 752 SSRM missiles, 489 of them hit for a total of 1233 damage. The average damage per missile was 2.52.

Now, today I fired 200 SSRM missiles, 100 of them hit for a total of 102 damage. The average damage per missile was1.02

Something was totally BORKED in this patch.

Yeah they're ******, damage numbers aren't getting half what they were yesterday. Time to quit until next patch again.

Had a number of games with my Catapult where I'm registering less than 200 damage with LRM/Streak combos, despite racking up multiple kills and assists and lasting through to the end of the round. Previously I'd expect to be hitting at least 450-500 damage for the same performances.

No wonder my last 3 games (yeah and I did wait to get a game) with missile boat were so bad.

Since matchmaking is not functioning I went and tried out this issue in the Training Grounds and can confirm it took 5 full alphas from 4 LRM 15 with Artemis to kill a standing Jenner, while tagged, in plain sight, with a fully stopped mech at a distance of 220m.
That is 300 missiles for a supposed 330 damage. There should be no misses at 220m with TAG and Artemis. A standard Jenner (like the ones present in Training Grounds) can carry 238 armor, tops.
There is no mistaking: there is something wrong with missile damage this patch.

Yes. Broken. All the 3/3/3/3 issues seems to flood the forums and this issue has not been recognized or acknowledged by PGI

You may now resume your PPC + AC5 meta, assuming you can find a game.

How can things like this even break when they have nothing to do with what they changed? And, yes, I've written software - a couple of Megaman fan games for the PC - and I know that stuff like that just shouldn't happen. Ugh...

Well as my main mech is the a1 and I do use LRM/SSRM combo I would love to test this out more but I have only been able to drop 1 time the entire day!

Verified LRM nerf.

My LRM45 Battlemaster is having a very hard time killing stuff.

I guess time to stop playing LRM boats for now.

BLR-1S 2xLRM15 & 2xLRM10 with Artemis on the testing grounds as matchmakers current status precludes any game-play.

200LRMs (4 Alphas) to destroy the Commando: unobstructed Line of sight, target locked, distance 231m

250LRMs (5 Alphas) to destroy the Jenner: unobstructed Line of sight, target locked, distance 221m

250LRMs (5 Alphas) to destroy the CN9-A: unobstructed Line of sight, target locked, distance 242m

340LRMS (6 Alphas + last 40 LRMs) at the CTF-1X: target NOT destroyed LRM Ammo depleted unobstructed Line of sight, target locked, distance 212m

LRM missile damage does seem to be light.

Unloaded 400 rounds LRMs into a STATIONARY gausscat, took it down to 88% damage then it noticed me & moved... what s happening???
