Soo, I just got off a game on this map, I occupied the upper deck under the HPG and firing down on the enemy invisible walls that surround that upper deck, causing atleast half my damage to be zero....as they impacted nothing. Clearly they were clearing they were just hitting invisible walls and crap, not the ground...lol.

Sooo, sup with that?

Aff, this map is particularly bad for that. All advanced zoom at 500 meters seems to do is give you a spectacular view of your Gauss slugs hitting nothing but air.

Love those pylons that are about waist high, and how they can magically shield jaegermechs from CT shots, while the jaeger gets to shoot over them.

That upper deck on HPG is absolutely terrible. Pretty sure those hitboxes are just cubes, despite the structures themselves being cylindrical.

They'll fix them if you post about locations.

The problem is that they'll "get to it" after the Clan packs are released.

Well Its cause HPG was more a test then a true map . It was a test of the structure aspect of Bases. http://www.mwomercs....theplan#1.12.14 its also why they haven't tried to polish/fix that map once since its release.

Keep in mind the collision mesh is much lower poly than the graphical mesh, that's the cause of "invisible walls", because the collision mesh is simpler and blockier. That's not the kind of thing they can simply fix without changing the entire way they implement map geometry.

The HPG generates a hyper pulse that is capable of enabling interstellar communications, OF COURSE the electromagnetic field around it sometimes blocks your shots! You should feel lucky that your mech doesn't randomly shut off whenever a pulse goes off :D.
