Hunchback 4H Builds?

I am trying to build out the xp trees on the hunchbacks. I have the 4SP and 4P variants built out where I want them, but am not really sure where to go for the 4H.
Right now, I am running two mplas and an ultra ac 5. I haven't invested in endo, dhs, or a bigger engine yet. Does anybody have any suggestions on 4H builds they are having fun with? Right now I'm not having much fun earning xp on the 4H variant because the other two are so much better.
Thanks!

I'm also working on my hunchback xp. I currently only have 1 (4SP), but my 2nd should be running soon, and i am planning to run the 4H also. Im thinking of the following build (but havent fleshed it out yet to see what i will need):
AC/20
1-2 tons ammo
3-4 med lasers
Enough Heatsinks to be able to fire the lasers nonestop....
I know this is a more traditional build, and I may experiment more once i actually own the chasis, but this will be my starting point as i am still low on c-bills.
I like the idea of hitting hard with the ac/20 and using the lasers to keep the flies off my back (and if a light mech happens to run in a straight line long enough for me to hit it with the ac/20, all the better...LOL)

Has anybody been able to make a long-range variant viable? Maybe gauss or some large lasers?

If you are stripping the xl and equipment off your other mechs to do it without spending the cash, it may be worth a try....

You can switch ammo where you want as well as lasers position.

Gauss - NO, just no. the Hunch problem is hard enough, I actually had a Gauss once, the explosion damage makes it worse. DO not do this.
Usually best Ballistic weapons are:
AC/20 - You do not get to max engine and will be limited by range but have great damage up close.
AC/10 - Combination of a lesser version of the AC/20 and gives some range, I run 2 tons ammo, no more needed with 4ML and a STD250. Great Raider, Harrasser, Striker and Partner Mech. Still packs a punch.
LBX - This is good if you want an anti-Light build and/or are new.
Offhand, anything else may not be worth it. Though given some interesting versions I have seen of other Hunchbacks like the all Energy 4J, you could pack a MG and get a big Energy weapon in the LA.
If you want UACs or AC5s, get the 4G and run 2-3 Ballistics in combination.
