The only thing said in the latest devblog-4 was that with the tournament ongoing they're going to wait until that is done before changing any gameplay in order for that tournament to stay fair.

It won't be next patch in other words.

Paul said SRMs are getting a small damage buff and that they're still working on issues with them.

Quote

SRMs are next. While investigating further fixes within this weapon system, we realized that the spread on all SRMs were set to 6 meters. This means the spread on an SRM/2 is just as wide as an SRM/6. This has been updated to make bit more sense and naturally increases the viability of all SRM systems.
  • SRM/2 has had its spread reduced from 6.0m to 4.8m
  • SRM/4 has had its spread reduced from 6.0m to 5.2m
  • SRM/6 has had its spread reduced from 6.0m to 5.7m
ALL SRMs have also recieved a 0.15 damage increase. This is to help average out DPS when missiles hit and miss due to Host State Rewind issues.
  • SRMs damage increased from 2.0 per missile to 2.15 per missile.
It was also found out by the community that the impulse on the SRM/4 was out of line with the other SRM systems. These have all been reduced to the SRM/4 value.
  • SRM/2 has had its impulse (screen shake) reduced from 0.192 to 0.11
  • SRM/4 has no changes made to impulse.
  • SRM/6 has had its impulse (screen shake) reduced from 0.192 to 0.11

Your crosshairs isn't affected by the lrms so stop freaking out and fire. It's easy.

And you're seriously whining about a small thing like that. Since everyone used srm4s already nothing has been changed.

Your looking at the wrong indicator or blowing it off on purpose. The lock on isn't moving but the red lock-on and gold targeting cross-hairs are all over the place. It actually even goes off target several times, meaning all direct fire weapons would miss. Look again.

Unless they changed the mechanic ninja-like, all that moves is the camera. The reticle does not. The crosshair moves because you instinctively try and compensate for the shake. Keep a steady hand and watch your trolling 6LRM5 enemy **** himself.

Getting lightly rained on by LRM5's isn't nearly as impressive when your not fully zoomed in to prove a point.

The reticle obviously moves on its own due to cockpit shake.

They found some bugs in it, rolled it back and it got delayed again...

Oh wait.

In all seriousness... it is taking forever like everything else that isn't related to keeping the sniper pinpoint front loaded meta going and functional.
