ever since lately ( i was a bit inactive, so i cant say if it has been since patchday) i'm experiencing lagspikes during matches.
they do not seem to appear at certain intervals. not that i am taking time with a stopwatch, but still.
they also do not seem to be connected to certain graphic effects. they are lags when i have only one other mech walking through my Line of sight, but a full lightshow of lasers and PPCs flying around i can see in fluent motion (sometimes at least).
using the repair tool: no help.
deleting the shaders folder: nope.
putting all graphic settings to low: nothing.
also, unless the its also lagging, the ingame fps meter does not show an FPS drop (50 on Ultra 120 on Low)
while it could also be that the lags come from the fact that the servers are at the other end of the world (hello from Germany by the way). that never was a problem in the years before.
so. any help would be highly appreciated.

It has been happening to me at random about 1 game in 5 recently,
sometimes I will have a few seconds where I teleport at random,
sometimes it makes the match virturaly unplayable (running in a light and the light teleports in-front of a building, bringing me to a dead stop this is a disaster when I am trying to evade fire)
occasionally it causes me to crash back to the mechlab (maybe 1 game in 20)

well i have not experienced any crashes... yet. but that "getting 'ported back and forth" is really unnerving. and abbusive. more than once now, i just ported through an LRM volley.
most of the time it just kills me because i cant react to enemy contact fast enought though.
but i better stop playing for now. wouldn't like being called a cheater 'cuz of that

Also are you keeping an eye on your FPS? Sometimes that's an issue instead of lag.
There are some threads here, that you can check out.

recent mystery lag spikes are a known issue, don't bother repair tool or reinstall. It's messed up east coast routing.

Nine times out of ten it's a routing issue in the eastern parts of North America. I'll do a traceback on your IP and see if we are experiencing any bad routing.
Update: I am seeing weird little blips in both our router and Comcast's network. Looks like basic jitter; but I am going to call Comcast's NOC and see if we can find out why.
