Ok ... anyone else have a problem with the game freezing 5 min in?
This is how this goes:::
1) Everyone starts to set up shop
2) Battle starts to progress
3) You engage .............
4) All video freezes ... yet audio tells you you're moving, getting shot at ...etc ...

I have had my video freeze before maybe 1 in 100 games. Hitting control alt delete then opening the task manager then going back to the game fixes it most the time for me.

If you haven't tried it yet, try running the repair tool. I was seeing it a few times a night at one point, but I haven't seen it since running the tool, FWIW

happens to me too... but ctrl+alt+del then cancel is enough for me, don't need to open task manager. doesn't phase me really since its a 1 second fix. Win 7 64 bit, gtx 560. cant remember driver version atm.

every few patches i get the problem.when it happens check your system tray and see if you have a device driver error message, my fix has been to run older video drivers.last month i was running amd14.4 drivers but after a patch i got crashes.i rolled back my drivers to 13.9 from sept and seem to be OK.
i find there are 2 kinds of crashes 'display driver stopped working' or 'memory allocation error for whatever bytes' rolling back the driver and adjusting my vid card clocks helps me with driver errors.my system is older with ddr2 800 ram so i tune down my clocks on my amd 7770oc.also are you running dx9?dx11? try running dx11 set most settings to low AAoff maybe just set details to medium,(i read if everything is set low, your vid card doersnt really kick in <is this true?>)
good luck
is it on alpine?it happens on alpine most for me

Same here. Control-Alt-Delete and opening the Task Manager fixes it consistently, but I have no idea why it happens. Windows 7 machine, for those who care.

Check and see if installhook is running... If so, cancel it.

Control-Alt-Delete plus Task Manager then cancelling Task Manager to get back in the game always fixes it for me as well.

Yeah, seems to happen to me more so on River City than other maps. I'd say it's 1 in 50. Sometimes for whatever reason it'll happen twice after first logging in for the day. Then it seems to settle down.

I'll have to try that, it used to be alt tabbing fixed it, but then that stopped working.
