The email sent includes a transaciton ID, which I think indicates how many packs sold. Im not sure if the ID's are per package or total for all 3. Since it says IGP transactin ID I am guessing it is for all 3:

At a rough guess: 20k transactions in total, 2k double/triple/failed transactions. Elite goes for 60, you do the maths =)

If you read the previous topics about this on the forum you'd know that your transaction ID is not a linear number.

In other words, there's no way to actually know how many have been sold.

Bought mine on wed when my pay check cleared the bank I was 18953. So a good number has been sold.

Yes, the credits will be very, very, very long. And I hope perchance I get a huge paycheck before I leave for college I can put towards legendary status..

In any case, let's estimate an average of $80 for founders packs, and at approximately 18,000 founders packs, that comes to just about $1,500,000 or so.

I do hope we get to hear an official amount here though. Albeit I expect the devs are laughing and having a party today in the office. Probably with some catering and pizza involved.

They have said that, but if you look at the posts about who has what number and what time they ordered it is pretty clear that the first folks to purchase have numbers in the 500s, and then escalating up to at least the high 18,000s by today. Now it is possible that not every 'transaction' is a purchase (would refunds also be in the numbers?) but I can't imagine that they would simply skip numbers at random or anything like that.

As such, I think the estimates of 15-20k total sales is reasonable, so it falls to figuring out the average payment amount. I have seen way more Legendary Founders than either of the other types, but that may just reflect those more likely to post on the forums. As one estimate, lets take an equal number of each type of founder pack. That would be ($30+$60+$120) / 3 = $70 average per transaction. That would put the estimated take for Piranha at over a million dollars now
