If this doesn't show they have failed to balance pop-tarting.....

I don't know why I bother to care sometimes... :)

I congratulate the winning teams though - well played!

Any time I load into a non-poptart mech, this happens during loading. It's so quick that you'll almost never catch it.
And I kid you not, this is NOT edited in any way, shape or form. (You can even catch it during the impossible convergence video up above).

Now if you really think about it...just what could that be? ;)

I know, I know, I know. I'm out... ;)
But seriously I lol'ed so hard while watching that video. Piloting Dragons during the actual meta really needs... yeah... this...

The Jenner front CT hitbox is so huge that it needs as much armor as possible to give it any survivability, and it would sacrifice far too much front armor to make the Jenner able to survive any reasonable high damage pinpoint alpha from the rear anyways.

Thanks for the insight, I do feel honoured indeed ;)
As for the armor; I'm gonna try this out. I do try to avoid most light-on-light brawling, but I still find myself in a pickle occasionally, which was actually why I started leaning more and more to using Firestarters as preferred light..

To answer your question I simply do not get killed through the rear armour enough in a spider to warrant putting any armour there.

Come to think of it, that also only happens to me when I end up being the very last one alive, jumping around trying to drag that "one Highlander that was already cored!" down with me.. But, yeah, by that time it's a lost cause anyways.. Gonna try this out!

Thanks for both your views on this!

--EDIT:
P33p3rs, I love how it says "Rookie" above the name of one of the Tournament winners :)
Heck, I'm a rookie myself, come to think of it!

He's a rookie at posting on the forums. Probably because he prefers kicking ass in the game rather than writing about it. :-)

Thanks for the insight. My question is, why place the ERLL in the center and not the arm?

Because he is bad! :)

In all seriousness I would imagine because it is slightly safer and we all wanted to play it safe and go for win. He probably would have done more damage with it in the arm though!! ;)

Look MAW, dead horse!

it might be dead, but it is also quite true. To be blunt, effective but ungodly boring. Still, I can respect the Meat even if I could give two shakes less about the Metal they drove!

Well the tourney was mostly skilled players, so LRMS were not in attendance.

They paired up the only two real LRM users in the first round- and ACES didn't use any on the second and was promptly wiped from competition. The tournament was seeded with the predicted winners as far apart as possible and the fodder-to-capable opponents sandwiched between them.

Note that not only were there zero LRM users in any real amount after round 1,but by the finals, they weren't even bothering with ECM.

Hmm... Dragon Slayer worth it or no?

After buying the Heavy Metal, I kind of regret it. Perhaps it's because of the load-out I use though. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b0fab448982434e

Or maybe I'm just not good at piloting Highlanders.
