I have a theory as to why we haven't seen camo/colour sales recently. I think that these unlocks will be segregated by IS/Clan mechs and PGI doesn't want to deal with people angry at not being able to use recently unlocked patterns or colours on clan mechs. Social reward 2 is limited to Clan mechs only

I think it is because they are making quotas on con$umables and private matches. It takes effort to put on a sale, and once you sell it, it is gone, so no more discounting permanent assets, when you can sell con$umsanles.

i wouldn't mind a sale for my IS mechs. As it is, i feel the mc price for colors is too high... but that's just my opinion and opinions are like a**holes everyone has one. so i hope

That statement falls flat on its face because mechs are permanent assets too and consumables are CBILL based, no on in there right mind buys the MC ones, which are the SAME as the 9x9 or improved ect ect..

It doesn't matter. PGI has already evaluated the ratio between a $USD, MC, and C-Bill ( $1 = 250MC = 375,000CB IIRC), so if you are Mech Romney, and have all the mechs you need, more C-Bills than you can spend; great, because you taking 2x consumables, means the brand new players you are up against are forced to spend their MC on consumables or mechs, because they don't earn enough to do both.
And once PGI has driven those new players from the game, and lose that revenue source then they will sell you discounted camo and colors, because that is the only source of revenue they have left.
If you don't think that MC = CBills = $$$ = time, then I am probably paying your welfare check.
