Dude in my last match really ticked me off. I am in a Spider 5D with no weapons (shot off). I am the last mech on our side and I know that the odds are not in my favor. I run back to my base and then do a wide sweep around to try and cap their base. The entire time, this bag of feminine hygiene product is constantly updating the other team with my position. It is idiots like that which make me hate PUGS.
Thoughts on this one? I know I wouldn't win but I'm not just going to let them walk up to me and ******* away....

Report the offending player via support@mwomercs.com with relevant info about match time, mode, etc.

Strictly speaking, this is against the rules and is reportable behavior. Practically speaking, (and I'm not saying this is the case in your situation because I don't know some specifics), sometimes it's just better to take the dive and move on to your next match.

There are always two sides to the story. If you feel you were right report him. Also, in case he reported you, you should think of a good response for when PGI asks you how a critically damaged spider with no weapons was going to overcome 8 turrets shooting him for 3 minutes of capping, because if you were hiding, that is also an infraction of the COC.

Wasn't hiding - never powered down - was actually avoiding the turrets at the base until the other mechs converged and legged me

You can actually avoid the turrets on some of the maps. However, if you wish to participate in a meaningful fashion while weaponless, just ram the hell out of them. Its way cooler than a futile attempt at winning.

This is actually wrong! If he was weaponless because he lost them during combat, he participated in the spirit of the game and it is his own decision if he wants to die or if he wants to run the clock. Please do not spread false informations.
As this thread is discussing a violation of the griefing rules, I'll close the thread. The right steps to take have been given in the first response.
