I saw a Jenner Variant on sale for like 725 MC. How does it compare to the current Firestarter trial Mech? I sold my Locust (stripped it first) but kept my Wolvie.

Jenners are better skirmishers due to their better torso yaw and ability to carry Streaks.
Firestarters are better at surviving damage/brawling due to having far better hitboxes, but their torso yaw limit is relatively low. Also, most of their weapons are arm-mounted (which have big hitboxes), so that means you may lose a lot of your firepower quickly (but at least you'd survive).

Buy camo with that mc and buy a light with cbills
i recommend the jenner if you want a mixture of speed and firepower
a firestarter is great for firepower but not very fast at some points

Coolness. Does the camo affect gameplay? I may get the Jenner and a 7 day booster.

Well, for psychological warfare, possible effect. But also nice if you really don't like any of the Basic Colors and would like to try out some patterns.

And to add, one of the best available deals is buying the Champion JR7-F to get access to an XL 300 with MC, [especially if you really like Jenners]. I own one and that XL 300 can be priceless due it's excellent utility being a good engine for many, many builds on other mechs.
As for Jenners vs Firestarters, the main differences have been covered, I have tried both and like running them, but then again I'm crazy enough to run lights! So take my opinion for what it is, another opinion

I went ahead and bought an energy Jenner variant since it was on sale. I like it!
