It is more than that though isn't it? He is talking about the larger issue of having the Clan bleed members just because they do not have a slot in the invasion.
Well, what are you gonna do? When you base your group on a home clan, and you have members who want to participate in the invasion, then of course you're likely to lose them when they find that they can't participate in the invasion as part of that clan.

I just figured I'd mention that this is a video game, and the OP is the type of thing I would expect from a 14 year-old girl on Livejournal.
Why does this thread exist, and why isn't the actual issue being discussed internally instead of making a useless thread about it?
Agreed, this seems to be an internal issue with the Coyotes and it's members, and it should have remained internal. I only pointed out the Harvest Trials in my previous post to point out that this sort of thing even happened in the lore, so even among the RP'ers why should this be such a surprise?

Ultimately, I feel like each Clan is a community of players, and fostering a sense of family within the Clan does the most to maintaining its integrity. I am not accusing anyone of failing to do that, of course, but it is naturally harder for individuals within the Clan to maintain that sense the larger you get as an organization
I am laughing in my head because one unit that tried to circumvent humanity via bribery failed miserably. The human element is far too strong, but at the same token what works for one human can fail miserably for another.

Now if the home world clans never get any tags, this is also a problem I feel that can be corrected easily by PGI. My wife does some programming (She went to school for it)and giving an excuse of so much more coding,is not a real excuse for ignoring many of your gamers. The fact is the faction tags are what everyone wants and I think with all the money many of us spent on this game already it is not to much to ask for.
I do not have the time nor the inclination to look through everything to see if the periphery worlds ever had a strong enough player base to say hey we want in also. Though all of us know they are a major factor in Cannon in many ways. If there are enough players that want to be those worlds and have faction tags then they should voice that and not stop voicing that until heard.
Also one last reply to Mr. Grimwill,I bear no grudge against you,but I would like to reply to this statement and then I have no more for you.
As for as i know i have heard nothing about Clan Coyote contracting to any other clan. Which means that we are not going to be apart of the invasion at all and instead will be content to fight Clan Snow Raven in 3050 as stated in Sarna.net.
Did you ask me?

It was brought out from the discussion that a "contract" is a legitimate way for a Home Clan unit to fight in the invasion. Lore-wise it did not happen but since the specific events of the invasion in CW will be ours to re-write (with the exception possibly of major battles like Luthien and Tukayyid? I hope so) RP-wise the MWO Clan Coyote may offer its Omega Galaxy to be contracted by an invading Clan (i would say Clan Wolf as we are your closest allies ) and it would fight alongside that Clan in Op. Revival. This would justify your partecipation and gives your warriors a chance to represent their own Clan in the invasion, so everyone is happy and proud.
P.S. If you will decide to be contracted by Clan Wolf as a whole i think you may just fight alongside ALL the CW units in MWO, so Alpha, Beta, Delta Galaxies and the others. This is your choice however, i am in no commanding position either so it is all my suggestion.

Probably we will see the other three invading Clans tags added later. I would not swear it, but Russ said they may do it.

I dont remember PGI stating that they are fallowing the cannon for the clans word for word unless someone can cite me where it is said. The big four are going to be first yes, but this doesnt stop any of the later invading clans or the ones that are just wardens to be a part of it during CW under another groups flag. You can still have your cake and eat it too.

they have not decided it for a fact. He basically says they might do it. It was not a guarantee.
