-Mechs in the Purchaseable filter will now show the sale banner when 'Mechs are on sale.

Why haven't Purchasable* mech details been fixed yet?

YEah, what the hell, PGI? I shouldn't have to PURCHASE something to see it's hardpoints, etc. That should be an automatic given. You don't go to a car dealership and say "I'll just take that one" without knowing the first thing about it, unless you're a feckin' idiot!

I shouldn't have to go to an external application to figure out what mech I want to buy!

I know you have to use Smurfy's to build a proper mech anyway, but not having ANY data on a mech before purchasing it MONTHS after the UI 2.X release is just sad.

Who needs Mech details ??

Just spend your money and see what you get !!

Mech details are not needed in a Mechlab. A good Mechwarrior Pilot knows all of the hardpoints and configs...

This is the biggest oversight in UI 2.0 for me, that u have to go to the mechlab, filter for purchasable to actually see what you're buying!

All Mechwarriors are not good Mechwarriors, especially when it comes to new players who do not interact with the community outside the game itself. My friend recently told me that he tried MWO for the first time since I had mentioned it. He said he was going to need a lot of help because he he couldn't figure anything out when he first got on. Apparently he earned a his cadet bonus and had no idea what or how to buy a mech, so he's just been sitting on it. I told him about Smurfy's. He checked it out and said "Why doesn't the game actually use this!?"

Agreed Smurphys is a great third party resource for MWO no where else can you build to your hearts desire, tweak loadouts, and findout whats on sale all at the same time. I am on it many times a day and it is worth it to Smurphy your best builds or all, if you don't have many, as it opens the door for currency free tinkering. Also hardpoints are clearly defined and you know what is on every mech in game even if it just came out only takes less than a day and there is a smurphy of it. I smurphy before I buy, unless there is a sale.

+1 for coining the verb "to smurphy"

"To Smurf" is already in the Urban Dictionary, so "To Smurph" it is!
