I'm reading a lot about the seiki 4k tv's lately. The refresh for 4k is slow.. but people are getting 120hz @ 1080p via pc-hdmi - and 50"!

Greetings all,

Whatever display your looking at, always check the refresh rate, for fast gaming and movement you'll need something in the 2ms range.

Normally the larger the screen size the slower this refresh gets, sometimes displaying ghosting, tearing, or other artifacts when the view or action is moving fast. High to very high end monitors are normally in the 2ms range, LED systems seem to be better at this.
- Some of these large image screens are stated at 12ms to 8ms for top dollar, not good enough for fast action gaming.
- Check the spec's
- Also look for the smallest Pixel pitch you can afford, that's the distance between pixels. The referenced monitor suggested is at the 0.311mm range. As an example the VS247's are at 0.272mm, finer image quality for pristine images.

The top end ASUS monitors should all be in the 2ms range. (the VS247's are.)

I'm playing on a 32 in LED Samsung 1080 P 120hz TV. I haven't noticed any video lag at all. Resolution isn't as nice as my 24 inch 2ms delay Asus monitor, but no input lag.

Running with i7 3770k 4.4 ghz
32G Ballistic Tracer 1600 ram
Win 8
MSI M-Power Z77
MSI 670 GTXOC.

Be aware that 1080p dlp projectors that offer 3D support almost always allow 120hz. Thats with little input lag and massive screen sizes :)
