[Geek Verve]

I had never played Blackjacks before, but since I'm a sucker for hero mechs, I bought this one. All I can say is thank you. I had no idea how fun the Blackjack can be.

The coolest part is that the BJ-1, BJ-3 & BJ-1X are all just as fun and versatile... so eliting them isn't a drag!

Stay away from the BJ-1DC though... it blows.

Yup. Bought the BJ-1(C) and BJ-3, and they're both good mechs as well. Nice variety in one chassis. The 1X and 1DC looked good too, but I wasn't keen on the idea of giving up 20% and 30% of the torso twist without jump jets.

The 1x is probably my second fav variant because of the increased speed. I'm comfortable in HBKs, so the lack of JJs - while limiting - isn't crippling to me.

I run it with 3MPL + 3ML with full armor, full engine and many heatsinks... it's a beast. Those 3MPLs can tear mechs up.

Yeah, it wasn't the lack of jump jets - most of my mechs don't have 'em. It was the greatly reduced torso twist. Jump jets would have just rendered that much less significant to me.

I like Hunchbacks, too. Talk about torso twist! Those things practically have lasers in the back of their heads.

I take back my doubt about the Arrow, it is fast replacing the BJ3 as my favourite Blackjack.

Love the Mech, the skin feels a bit uninspired though. Would wish for an option that we actually could use our bought skins on hero mechs as well
