I just finished isle of the blessed novel, it took place in the years of 3070 to 3074ish on new avalon. It kinda just ended with no conclusion. With some searching on the internet i found that word of blake was eventually defeated in 3081. I looked at a book list and unless i am missing something i don't see any books covering this era. Where does this canon come from?

I am not sure if there are any novels cover this. But, there are source books. Look up the Jihad and World of Blake on the Sarna Wiki.

There are no novels beyond Isle of the Blessed to my knowledge, but there are plenty of source books:

no novels cover it, however if you read some of the jihad secrets and jihad manuals, theres all kinds of story tidbits and articles covering their end, beginning and in the middle along with some really interesting funy things like sun tzu having davion blood

The owners of fasa retired when the writers were just wrapping up the fedcom civil war, after that wizkids bought the ip and skipped ahead to the dark ages so there were no books covering the jihad.

However the writers kept doing the books on the net for fans, those are now showing up on sites like Amazon for digital download so I would not be surprised if we eventually get the whole thing.

Catalyst clearly hold the battletech universe close to their hearts as they are working hard to bring it back, unlike wizkids who ducked it up with the dark ages.

I had wondered about that, but hadn't put those facts together, thanks!

battletech: interstellar expeditions lists WoB as having its RoM forces "gone to ground" in the inner sphere, and most likely shifted many of its survivors out to the periphery as the "green ghosts" who constantly attack and disrupt historical dig sites. only 3/5 or 6 hidden worlds were found at the end of the jihad. quite a few named characters also escaped the hunting of WoB. I def recommend getting the IE sourcebook and giving it a read.

Guess that's the author's way of saying, 'It's ok to like him. This is why is he actually good and not crazy'.

F'n Davions. ;)

I would recommend reading Sword and Dagger first as that's the correct chronological order and the author was not one of the "regulars" so the style of writing is very different.

There are like 96 total if memory serves. I've read all of them (as a younger guy) and I'm rereading the entire collection. What I don't own in hardcopy, you can find epubs versions (pdf) and read them for free for the most part.

No novels I know of, and sorry to bring up mech assault to ant hardcore BT fans. But through both mech assaults, you fight as a member of the wolf's dragoons to bring down the word of Blake

It was not the story to the games that bugs people - but the gameplay mechanics. :P

....though the story for Mechassault: Phantom War was just...... bad. :P

Jihad secrets: The Blake Documents page 113 as to do with Oper.Doppelganger and "tissue Samles taken" and cryogenically frozen.

The best place to find BattleTech stories (licensed fiction) is here: https://www.battleco.../BC2/index.html
