Well, I'll say it's more than plausible. For those naysayers out there: Here Comes CW!!!!

Can we get a dagger star icon for non-big 4 Clan players to rep the Clans with? IS has Lone Wolf and Merc Corp tags - it'd be nice to not have to get pigeonholed into one of the 4 in order to play on the Clan side of CW when it hits.

This. I assume the "clan with no name" doesn't get a Wolverine banner, but this would work for me as a substitute.

Why do you think I'm anonymous? ;)

Ok so we're rolling back to 3049...possible to change history is pretty cool....CW is slated for August so we have an estimated time...We seem to have a lot of stuff in order and we know that new clan stuff will be coming out. Ok ForumWarriors. Do what you do best and complain about something on this post. I know you're out there. One thing I learned in the Marine Corps...There's always One.

Whatever will help me feel more immersed in the game is a good thing.

I say good!

I fully support the decision to roll the clock back so the clans arrive as they do in canon. I also want to see serious planetary battles, merc contracts, news feeds, and a star map of all the planets and their status / ownership in the IS.

This should not stop with just rolling back the clock. I want CW and some lore-based encounters to take place. Bring BT to the players!

rant over

Hi everyone!

Please provide us your feedback regarding the latest Command Chair post regarding the game timeline!

A common sense solution that should add some "dimension of immersion" to CW.

Here's some more feedback:

So... if we get these new clans, does this mean we'll finally get St. Ives? Steel Viper only ends up controlling about 14 worlds, which they end up losing, Nova Cat gets about 15, and Diamond shark isn't even a blip on the map, for most of the canon they only hold a handful of worlds.

Meanwhile...

St. Ives consistently controls 17 worlds, which are host to a number of factories (this is where your blackjacks and victors come from) and fields a military force roughly equivalent to the IS-based forces of the Steel Vipers and Clan Nova Cat. And, of course, way more than clan Diamond Shark.

ED: I also want to note that by 3063 St. Ives and the Steel Vipers are wiped off the map anyway (St. Ives falls to the Capellans, and the Steel Vipers are forced to evacuate the inner sphere to return to the clan homeworlds), and the Nova Cats summarily join the Draconis Combine (similar to the Azami, who contribute the Arkab Legions to the DCMS).

so you are 2 year late and you justified your situation by back tracking two years? And then what from stopping you at doing it again in 2 years time?

We want to see new weapons and tech in this game like Thunderbolt missiles and MRM, not waiting for 50 years if ever...

on second thought why can't we jump to 3145? Stuff the clan invasion

This makes sense... now I wonder what happens as far as CW goes... will we have to choose only one faction to play for the duration or can we switch between Clans and IS?

Keep up the good work, PGI.

OH THANK YOU SWEET BLAKE!

This is what we've needed for Community Warfare to work. Still don't like that Community Warfare is coming after the Clans, but at least we're seeing some progress towards it!

So in essence this game is basically starting over... Since this is the case are you going to release the Founder and Phoenix packs again so those who missed them the first time around can have a second chance to get them?

Bla bla bla bla........

There has to be someone in PGI who should recognise what players actually want... ;)

There always has to be one, right?

And....

ISN...ISN...ISN...ISN....ISN...ISN....ISN....

MWO: Far Country.

Here's to hoping that you actually get something other than a map that changes color into the game.
