I normally run a founders C1 with 2 Artemus LRM15s, 3 medium lasers and a tag. I have never had any issues with heat even on the hotter maps.

Since the last patch however I am overheating on maps like frozen city with only LRM fire, without using my medium lasers.

This has never happened before, so is there a bug with LRM 15s?

That is good idea. To put some balance in the game (now LRM boats usually do most damage/most kills in most teams with little effort) is to increase LRM produced heat significantly. It is wrong, that boats can fire hundreds of missiles without any heat issues.

I have noticed this too, but my other builds seem to be concerned too, maybe a problem with heat sinks values ?

Noticed no difference using my Founder's CPLT last night, same build as Jonnara... wasn't overheating on Terra Therma from missile usage, and have DHS ;) However... I chain-fire my LRMs for better recycle time and watching my heat management... honestly I think LRMs should generate more heat, personally.

It does seem to appear that LRMs are hotter as I' appear to be experiencing more frequent shut downs on my C4 with 2XLRM-A 10 and 2XLRM-A 5 than pre-patch. I fire my missiles in single salvoes or 2 separate salvoes i.e. LRM5's and LRM10's.

Yeah I am having to chain fire my 2 launchers now or keep an eye on heat bar if I am on normal fire. Seems to be a ninja heat nerf we didn't know about??

I think the issue is more that they are shooting so many LRMs so rapidly. Reload times a bit low. Their DPS is good but the reload time is really low and their damage is pretty low too (1.1 versus double armor; where it's 1 versus single armor).
