Due largely to a general lack of interest, I'm giving up on this idea, at least for now. The Stock 'Mech events already have difficulty getting enough people together on their scheduled times, and far fewer people appear to be interested in this "no-cheese matches" thing. It'll never work with fewer than two dozen people interested; time zones & scheduling conflcts would mean that even these few would seldom or never be on simultaneously. So, this is being shelved indefinitely.

Hi Carl

It might just be the timing, there's a lot going on right now. RHoD & MrBC are starting up, as well as the newly introduced ISC double elimination event, plus there are the other two leages mentioned in this section, all starting right about now going on for 5-7 weeks.

I think the idea is good, Beer Warrior Brawl got like 14 teams with their no ppc/no strikes theme, and it is wrapping up over the next couple of weeks.

The idea is fun, and potential is there. Choose another time between seasons of the major leagues like marik civil war, RHOD and MRBC and you'll get enough.
