Also I would prefer, if they just gave the typical long range weapons not only a dmg range drop, for going higher then optimal range, but also the opposite of being too close to a target. Melee double gauss is kinda annoying, so while the long range fighters need to make sure, that they are actually hitting something farther away, the brawlers want to close the gap and then they have simply more dps.
