have all the trial mechs have camo patterns and cockpit items
new players will play these mechs and say hey i like that cockpit item and this camo patterns really nice ill have to put it on my mechs when i get them

but if trial mechs came painted, how would I ID the liabilities on my team?

As it is now, if I see 3 base model green mechs in my lance, I know I'm going to be in a difficult situation....and that my friend calls for a few chugs of beer.

I am pretty sure we want to keep vanity items strictly on the buy to use side of the line. Lest they get any ideas to start including must have items on the list of pay to use.

After all one time use camo is cheap as dirt and paints are on sale all the time.
