I like to play the fast mechs. Decent armor and firepower with a lot of speed. I have been using the JR7-F with six medium lasers, and it's been working really well. I was wondering if there are other mechs like it out there, and if so, what are they?

Question is whether you want the same experience or one that's different in some way.
Firestarters are just as fast with a bit tankier hitboxes, lower hardpoints, and tend to run hotter than a Jenner.
Other lights are cool, but not as firepower oriented.
Spiders have great hitboxes, but can't pack nearly the punch of a jenner.
The raven 3L hits pretty hard from a range, but not as hard and can't survive long in the thick of things.
The cicada 3M is pretty cool: it goes 133 tweaked if you stuff 2 PPCs and an ECM on it.
Going up in weight, the BJ-1 can run an AC20 and 3 MLas, which is a very solid build and hits hard. It only goes 93 kph though.
Above that in weight, you can technically get a shadowhawk to move pretty darn fast, but it's better to use a standard or an XL300ish and put more stuff in it. I alternate between 2 PPCs, 4 streaks with an XL280 and 2MLas and an AC20 with a STD260.
Higher into weights and you get into the slow stuff that hits hard.

I've been playing a Commando 3A with the "drive by" build that really seems to tear everything apart. The op suggests you use the build to engage and disengage extremely quickly, but I find it's just plain lethal. Remember to lock your arms before you fire your srms and you can do scary damage for a 25 ton 'mech, especially if you save them for back armor.

I agree with what's been said earlier. The firestarter is exactly what you're asking for but is very similar to the Jenner. For meds I would say that you could do well with a Shadowhawk, Griffin or Wolvie. All can reach up to 116 and have a decent arsenal, just depends upon your favorite weapons (as an over all chassis, the Shadowhawk is probably best) but the others each have excellent single variants.
