With the addition of the 12 trial Champion Mechs my mechbay is feeling very... claustrophobic. Are there any plans to allow us greater control of managing our mechs? Even with the weight class selection the random distribution of a big yellow "BUY" button in my mechlist is a sizable distraction. Even more so for us vetran players with 40+ mech bays. I can't imagine that situation will be helped once the clans drop.

Is there a way we could get the trial mechs on there own separate filter and away from the "Owned" selection?

I quadruple the please request for a Trial Mech filter. We all know they're there. We know we'll be able to find them at some point. I don't think you're going to sell more Trial Mechs simply because they're cluttering up our owned Mech bay inventory.

that wont happen as we have been asking for it since they put it in and well they might loose out on some money somehow plus they don't listen to anyone especially the people who put them where they are today..you know the ones here since the beginning of closed beta (which is where the game still belongs )

I love the intent behind the change, 12 Trial Mechs is a much needed improvement, you can go further. However, having them clutter up my Dropship floor with my owned Mechs is... not right.

Notice what I did there? I used the word "owned" with a different intent than the Select Mech screen, like contrasting how it should be with how it is, get it?

Since we don't own trial mechs, they should not appear when we choose the "owned" filter.

Deffinitely wanted (not urgently needed to play the game, but will deffinitely improve the experience).

Best option for this would be to change the mech selection secton of the UI to checkboxes (because everyone loves these).

This way you can check the types of mechs you want to view and which not

Possibilities of check options;

- All playable mechs (This is automatically removed when one other checkbox is deselected and does not include the Purchesable Mechs)
- Trial Mechs
- Champion Mechs
- Hero Mechs
- Playable Light mechs
- Playable Medium Mechs
- Playable Heavy Mechs
- Playable Asault Mechs
- Purchesable Mechs (This could be used to streamline the purchasing of mechs as players could view the stock variants like the owned mechs, but would not be able to play them until they have been purchsed through Cbills or MC).

With this system, Trial and Hero mechs can still be bought like they are now, but players dont have to list them if they dont want to. As any players who wouldnt buy an MC Mech wont buy them just becasue they are annoyingly cluttering up the UI, but if they do decide to buy one during a sale, then it is just 1 click away.

It would be very simple with Purchasable, Available and Owned mechs.

Owned would have only our mechs, Available would include our and trials mechs.

2-3 lines of code.
