Ok some that know me by my posts already know I can have a sense of humor aswell as deep irony ... but PGI please ! .. just for a moment consider a better server for us Euro players. I know technology is a fantastic thing .. but broadband providers are not the best in the country let alone the world.

With baited breath I await to submerge myself into battle with fellow Mechwarriors .. only to get the server kickout ! ... comon dudes ! whats all that Gold Clanmech money for ? .. hopefully not new Masarati's and Ferrari's, maybe the hope of something to help us stay connected to a game that is evolving and fun.

Ok so maybe it might be a big ask ? .. or maybe it's just an issue I'm having to deal with ....

:)

May split the player base too much, they may need a lot more players to make it worth it.

World of tanks also has a way bigger player base. They split their NA server in half into east and west which was imo was silly as there's usually about 10k people on at once with one server usually only with 2k people on it. NA will see 30-40k players during specially events. It totally M makes sense for their RU and EU servers which have several times the average players online as NA and it certainly makes sense to have the continental servers because really 300k players on one server would have been a task and a half.

Wut?

Just to be clear as to what I'm referring, broadband'd definition is basically = fibre optic cable or when referring to copper; ADSL or better.

You know of some new magical technology to connect to the internet? Yoghurt carton & string perhaps?

i think you have a problem. i am from eu and so are my almost whole unit...and we do not have any significant problems. our pings vary from around 90 to 150 probably based on location..but thats all.
