i have an insanely impressive experience the other day in the phract trial.

my damage was okay my kills were ehhh (2 or 3 by time i died) the impressive part was

HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO FRIGGIN DIE!!!!!

i wish i had a vid or at least a screen shot but i ended up chasing a highlander into the middle of the majority of his team and was able to finish him off before i died.

The only thigns i have left when i died? my left leg with yellow armor and my cockpit with red armor. i lost both arm, both side torsos, all armor front and back of CT and my right leg. I actually survived for a minute or so after i lost my leg as well (which is why i "chased" the highlander)

I dont think i have ever seen that kind of survivability in any of the other mechs ive played. Had a few people on other team comment they were shocked i lasted that long and said they stopped firing multiple times expecting me to be dead/die already

That's just the zombie power of having a standard engine combined with spreading damage.

Yes, it's awesome.

Love my Phracts and Cats and Ravens and even Cada's (seriously I have a reverse-leg fetish). But just wait until you get into a round against a team that can aim. Holy Crap the Phract has a CT with a giant bullet magnet in it. You can stand there while a MG light points at your feet and almost see the rounds curve up and hit CT. Even long range PPC and laser shots bending space-time just get sucked into your CT. In a Phract you could strip all armor points and pile them all on CT and still get cored. But sometimes, you get one of those rounds when the magnet is turned off, then you can rock!
