Hello folks, I am considering selling my Sager NP8260-S. I love it, it is by far the nicest little machine I've ever laid hands on, but I am finding that I am not needing the mobility now that I thought I would, and so will be building a desktop instead. I'd love to keep it too but there's no way I could justify that to "the powers that be." ;)

It is in brand new condition, and has been sitting on my desk, closed, basically as a desktop replacement for the time it's been in my house. It has probably been opened for a grand total of about 4 hours. (I use an external display and keyboard 99.9% of the time).
There have been no issues at all on this machine, it is rock solid, and runs cool under stress.
MWO plays at 40-60 FPS on Ultra (all settings), vSync ON, DX11, and post AA. FPS probably goes higher but vSync kept it capped at 60 (I preferred the smoothness of vSync).

Physically it is this laptop:

http://www.xoticpc.c...sma-p-6986.html

It has:

- Intel i7-4700MQ (w/IC Diamond thermal compound)
- 16GB 1600Mhz RAM
- 750GB WD Black 7500rpm Data drive
- 128GB Adata SX300 mSata SSD OS drive
- AMD Radeon 8970m 4GB (Same as the newer R9 290m)
- 15.6", 95% ntsc gamut 1080p display (looks frigging amazing, strangely enough not available on NP8268)
- Debranded, matte black rubberized finish
- DVD drive
- Intel AC 7260 WiFi card
- Crazy multi-coloured backlit keyboard, decent speakers with a little sub on the bottom.
- Includes a Thermaltake Massive LX cooling pad

Is still under warranty (about 5 months left).

I will be asking $1600 CDN ... I built this up on their site with equivalent parts and it ends up being around $2000 (with the 3% cash discount) as it stands now. BUT if someone from here would like it, I will knock $50 off the price as "MWO brethren discount ;)".

It comes with Windows 7 Pro, I can't provide Windows 8 though, and if you want no OS I am willing knock the price down a bit more. If you want me to put Windows 7 on there, I will do a great basic setup job for you as well at no charge (for my MWO brethren :D). and include an installation DVD and key should you need it

I will cover shipping if you are within BC, but no further than that

Cheers,
-cSand

Good luck with the sale. Any idea of what desktop you plan on getting?
Edit: For international Members, $1600 Canadian would be about $1464.26 US, 871.01 Pounds, 1073.04 Euro or $1567.90 Australian

PC I came up with for $1500 Canadian:
