Ohh I am sorry but I actually like to participate in armored maneuver warfare in MWO, not beg someone to hold a lock so I can lock on because I am unable to aim.

Jesus Christ when are LRMS going to be nerfed? Can barely maneuver in pug matches without ECM right now. Feels like the game has been newbiefied for no talent ********* players.
It is usually the no talent ********* players who are most vocal about implementing LRM nerfs. Most of the veteran forumers are fine with dealing against LRMs.
Just follow the likes.

Seeing these threads is like reading a necro from a year ago.

I was going to say something snarky but instead I'll give you actual advice.
getting killed from LRM sucks and can rustle the jimmies of players of all skill levels. But once you understand that being hit by LRMs means that someone has LOS on you(be it the LRM user, or his spotter), and all you have to do is break that LOS, then your jimmies will be rustled much less often.
good luck!

ECM is still powerful, yes. But it is hardly a requirement to survive a couple of LRM boats. I think what really rankles the people responding in this thread is the OP deciding to throw around assumptions about "no talent <something> players" when clearly it is him having the problems with skill.

I'm more amused by it.
It's like those guys in matches who die in the first 30 seconds, then proceed to call their team/lance/enemy n00bs who don't know how to play. You can't really get mad at those kind of people, you just got to kind of chuckle and hope that one day they learn to self reflect and learn from their mistakes.

Regularly dies to a weapon that only works reliably against newbies and the steering wheel underhive.
Then complains that the weapon is only used by said underhive and needs a nerf, becasue "there`s no skill involved"
Remains completely oblivious to his or her own lack of basic skills being the obvious primary cause of the issue(s)
PS: probably never mounted AMS in his/her life, "Becasue it`s a waste of tonnage"
Thanks OP, I needed that, as saturday Morning cartoons in Germany suck

Personally Id like to see the following changes to LRMs:
-ECM no longer gives aoe bubble stealth, and now only stealths the mech its equipped on
-LRM cooldown is increased by 30%, and LRM damage is also increased by 30%.
-LRM impulse decreased
What that does is prevent ECM from completely shutting down LRMs, but it also makes it so chain-fired LRM5s fire much slower, and cant stunlock mechs anymore.

We just keep to cover. Walk to the edge of their Cover. Then blow off their LRM pods. Its fun.

I'd prefer:
-ECM does not stop locks, but does hide the targets info/paperdoll/damage.
-LRM cooldown is increased by 30%, and LRM damage is increased by at least 30%...probably more like 50%.
