Excuse me, is your unit based on a canonic unit or just a "generic" Clan Wolf?

Besides, i believe that the Wolves are already very divided.. Not sure if it is a good idea to split the new sibkins among three international units.. But good luck nonetheless

non cannon, tho we can have some fun with it

their use to be a unit called Black Wolves Mercenary company, i believe they are moving to Star Citizen though. But i played with them during Beta. Don't know if this is the same group, but it's good to have non lore units too

Non Canon Wolf clans, I like to consider Client-States :P, ready to rise to the call of their clansmen.

And who's to say that anyone making a unit with a reasonable name under clan wolf can't be cannon? Just because the ones listed in the TRO or books doesn't mean there the only ones. Much like how there can be many millions of different SM Chapters in WH40k. My unit could be a unit within clan wolf.

Uh, well actually the sourcebook mention ALL the units of ALL the Galaxies of Clan Wolf after Tukayyid :D
To be honest, there are still many Clusters available, even if a whole Galaxy has been already claimed by another player unit, so i just do not see why i should create my own non-canon unit when i could use a canon one.. Or join one already established :D

But that is just my opinion

I hear what your saying. Something like that could have happened, but if they splintered off and formed their own circle or clan then it still would not be clan wolf. They could have the same ideals and culture but it would be a different group all together. Sorta like The Seleucid Empire. It is not a true Greek state(clan) but it became it's own entity. Same would apply for the Clans, you can make non-canon galaxy that is a copy but it is it's own entity. Unlike Alpha and Delta, yes we are two different galaxies but we are tied to The one true clan(clan wolf) and we are the Arm's of a larger body.

I see what my Brothers are saying here and understand their concern.

Regardless of that, I wish to welcome this new unit, non-canon or not. Not everyone is comfortable with roleplaying or being that deep into lore. Some just want to make their own place in the community and I think it is great that we have been blessed with another Wolf-alligned unit.

Best of luck to you Trothkin!

The more people fighting under the Clan Wolf Banner the better.
Besides having many Clan Wolf units gives people more options to find the right unit.
There are different types of people so why not different types of Clan Wolf units.
