You might love the FLD weps, but if lasers are losing damage from crossing a hitbox and making them %50 as effective it could make a huge difference in the whole nerf PPC damage distribution talk.

This whole "It's 1 damage who cares" talk is stupid, there's problems with hit reg on DOT weapons, how many times have you shot an MLs at a red component and it didn't explode for some unknown reason.


Solution:
-Record Video
-Grab some friends.
-Put one in an Atlas.
-Equip a Medium laser on your own 'Mech.
-Have the Atlas mount exactly 100 CT armor.
-Launch Private Match.
-Only you and your one laser shoots the Atlas square in the crotch gut.
-Do so while waiting for the paperdoll to finish flashing between shots.
-The moment the CT armor vanishes off the CT but WITHOUT damaging the internals, have the Atlas murder you.
-Check your damage.

Retry the above scenario with all lasers in the game. Post findings. THAT would be proof.

You fired weapons that do damage in bursts over time... Therefore, losing ONE point of damage to your Mech twitching.
