I won't be so asinine as to say "Great Games Friday" because frankly, we dissapointed ourselves mightily. (BHC mauled us in the ISC). As a defensive disclaimer over my peeps, we were (foolishly) attempting to incorporate hardcore advancing and brawling into our team playbook without practicing it first or choosing the appropriate conditions to use it.
Regardless, you guys beat us quite soundly... however, to a man (and woman, almost forgot Isendre), Ransom's Corsairs were duly impressed at the BlackHawk's professionalism, patience, coordination, and preparedness. They entered the lobby as a cohesive group. Their drop deck was already planned and balanced, and they readied up sprightly. A far cry from encountering a collection of folks who seem to be making up their drop deck the day of a comp match, or who've misplaced tons of modules (understandable) and not taken the time to track them down before the scheduled drop (unforgivable)
The BHC did none of these things. On top of that they were roundly pleasant and polite over chat, on top of that their coordination, tactics and timing were top notch.
I don't usually try to sell the merits of an opposing team this hard, in fact this might come across as rather gauche, but we really were impressed. Any pilots reading this, if you have a good attitude, pleasant personality, good sportsmanship, and can appreciate the fact that people have kids they have to tend to, even during a match; then Ransom's Corsairs want you for ourselves...
...but you could do worse than signing up with the BHC, they truly seem a classy bunch.

The ISC tournament has given the community a chance to understand what these events require and the Black Hawk Mercenaries have gained a great appreciation for what competitive teams go through. Thanks again for the games and we look forward to seeing your unit in future events.
