I would like to get into creating signatures. What kind of programs do you sig creators use? And are they any good tutorials on creating signatures. I believe Photoshop is an option but i don't really want to go out and pay 40 dollars for something just to create forum signatures. Any advice?

I don't get those forum sig generators either

You could try GIMP. GIMP is absolutely free and it acts like Photoshop.
