I don't know. It's bad, but I've gotten used to it honestly. modding a mech is difficult but I've adapted. The most annoying still is that I can't find that XL330 I KNOW I have somewhere.

When I came back from a six month break, I went through all 54 mechs and stripped them, just so I could locate all my engines and modules. It took an annoying amount of time to do it.

Seriously, if you're having trouble I would look into user error.

It's not the most intuitive however it works fine.

Your definition of fine, must be like when someone asks their pissed off girlfirend if she's ok and she says 'I'm fine'.

With user feedback and suggestions, we can hope that they will make great strides.

They've already started working on things. (removed loud clunk with every mouse click, added a Smurfy view, and some other smaller things).

Head on over to the Suggestion thread, check to see if your gripe is listed and add feedback, if not, you can always make a suggestion with a poll.

They like polls, we like polls. :P

I bet you go to smurfy to tweak your mech and have general fun with loadout. I used to end a night with some fun in the mech lab, that fun is gone now and i go to smurfy when i have to change/create a loadout. Beside the full screen bigger mech that you can actualy see how it looks, everything is many step back.

How many times i was playing with a friend and i had stuff in my loadout that just wasnt working but i went through the night with it because i just didnt want to take the time to change the loadout because of ui2.

Not being able to find an equipped part (engine, gun, lazers, etc), cockpit items, and modules is a joke.

Second, sorting mechs needs some huge improvements. Get rid of the non-owned Mechs in the Owned sort!

If they fix those I'd be happy.

To find gear, I rename all shelfed mechs as DECOMM and stripped. The rest have real names and I run only 3-4 at a time.

I name mine "OOS" and paint them bright red (all three color locations) for easy "dont use this" reference.

The best part is trying to buy a new mech. Not sure if the variant you clicked on is the same as the one you wanted? Well screw you! You can't see what the mech's default loadout and weapon hardpoints are until you back out of the store. Why?! There is no reason for that what so ever!

I fully support PGI hiring mentally handicapped people to do their UI, it' may not result in a great product, but it's the morally right thing to do. (Plus they work for free if you give them a box of sugar.)

Dont expect any change for the better !
The UI 2.0 is unchanged now for months...there are other topics to work on.

And the main thing back in the past was -> to keep the timeline for implementation !

Nobody cares about usabilty. No wait, sometime Apple do so....but not PGI.
