I'll be rocking my Thor/Summoner for awhile. It's been my favorite ride since MW4. Also, everyone thinks it's going to be sub-par, which makes me want to drive it even more.

2xERLL/4xERML Stormcrow
http://goo.gl/b9IdWG

2xLPL/4xERML (might cut back to 2 for extra HS)
http://goo.gl/EyMPeB

2xERPPC/ERML Stormcrow
http://goo.gl/fGR6x6

3xERPPC Stormcrow
http://goo.gl/EyMPeB

4x LRM15 Stormcrow
http://goo.gl/M4vKhO

SSRM/ERML Stormcrow
http://goo.gl/QV7prS

2xERPPC/LBX5 Stormcrow (meta)
http://goo.gl/Aj2Fhx

12 ERSL/4MG Nova with TC6 (ERSL have a range of 204m & all weapons have +23.5% crit! I might even buy the small laser extended range module for a few extra meters...)
http://goo.gl/7i6XEK

Depending upon range, I would also like to test out the ERSL, the SPL, and the MPL. They might have advantages since the ranges on the smalls in particular should be better.

you're a "letter of the law over Spirit of the law" kinda guy aren't ya. The OP was asking (using some fluffy language to garner interest) what we intend to use once clans are released, both in clan mechs and in our IS tried and trues, he was not asking for the same gripes that have appeared in every damn thread since clans were announced to be reiterated here. We get it, you guys don't like it, you have expressed this in every concievable way to the rest of the community... WE KNOW.

All i'm asking is for 1 damn discussion about clans to not get derailed by this, some of us still have FUN playing this game and want to ACTUALLY TALK ABOUT IT instead of more group therapy showing on the doll where PGI touched you.

That's just thoughtless, where they touched me was a very sensitive spot that my mom warned me about not letting people touch my bits.

In approximately 168 hours, the invasion many of us have either feared or hoped for will be upon us!

What I would like to know is, out of those of you who have purchased any of the Clan A La Carte or package OmniMechs, what will the Spheriods first sight be from you?

Inner Sphere Great Houses! Prepare!

What will you field to stall the invasion of your home?!

For you Lone Wolves: If you have not choosen a side in the coming conflict what would it take for your alligance to be known?

What will it take to have you field your Trueborn self in Operation Revival for the ideal of a united Star League?

With out community warfare actually up and running, what exactly are the clans invading? what is the point of the hype? There are no factions to actually join, and fight for. There are no planets to control. The clan introduction is nothing more than a giant preorder mech pack. The only difference between the clan packs and the phoenix ones are the cost and number of mechs involved.

It will be interesting to see the new mechs, and weapons. It's a good thing to have more variety in the game. However with out community ware far there is no point to introduce the clans.

The wallet?

I'll be screaming along in my sub-50kph Daishi... hunting lights with SSRMs, CL10X & ERMLs.

It does rely on the buckton fix actually working, but i think it will make a nice fast brawler

Y'all just need to chill out and play the game without worrying about who's IS or Clan until CW actually comes out. Until then, enjoy playing in the new big, stompy, robots.

...but the whole point of this game is cw...and it's not likely gonna be here for years to come, if ever and will be broken an unplayable like...everything else almost besides just basic matches.

Operation donglizard.

The games got no sence of progress and addign some clan mechs *enormous meh* The clan mechs seem like they'll have better DPS but worse alpha, so I expect them to be crap in this game because use of cover is the number one essential. It will be interesting to watch the rollout, but I'm certainly not buying early, will go cbill on them if I bother. Will be amusing to hear the cries of indignation as the clan release results in a lot of dead clan mechs. Not seeing much from them that will result in excellence.

I will probably spend the better part of June 17 just messing around with Smurfy or the Outreach Mechlabs and the testing ground trying to get a decent build for all my mechs.

dunno, which mech to try first time out, probably a Summoner. so far without looking thru the 3 variants to switch weapon pods, UAC20, erppc, 2x streak srm6, sounds about right

Good luck with that, the Summoner has just 22.5 tons of space, and that loadout takes 24. (12+6+3+3)

Beeing poor man , just for fun I will mimic Timber Wolf Prime on my Stalker. ^_^

Anyway, did somebody noticed fast changes during the drop phase recently? First You see Lances formed, and in a part of a second they are rearanged by houses/factions.

Edit: so not by weight, fire power ????

Only 2t of ammo for the UAC5s? That's way too light, even for a Clan mech. Same with the SRM ammo. You'd get just over 8 shots before you're dry. Maybe rethink it?

You only have 2 tons of SRM for 4 SRM6 launchers and 2 tons of ammo for 2 UAC5s. Consider changing out the UAC5s for a UAC10 to free up some weight for ammo.
