Hey guys,

I am polling for interest in a 3025 league. I know we have a lot of people out there that really enjoy the stock mech nights, and I wanted to put together a longer running league for a more basic rules set.

Matches would most likely be played Sunday evenings between 7 and 10pm EST. Each week, teams would compete in a best of three, with points being awarded to the winner, and additional points to each team for each kill they make through the matches. I'm still tweaking the final numbers, but the goal is to reward teams for fighting, rather than standing off and winning 3-1 in the last 20 seconds.

3025 rule set means no DHS, no XL, no upgrades, no advanced weapons, etc. Even a fair number of variants will be disallowed. If you're curious about exactly what you would have to work with, we built in a tech selector in the OBN Mechlab specifically for this upcoming league so there would be no questions to what is valid or not. Just set the Tech Level dropdown to 3025 before choosing a mech to build.

This league would be open to solo pilots and smaller groups as well as full house teams. Assuming we get enough interest, we will have some sort of draft to distribute otherwise unaligned pilots. If I get enough interest here and on other forums, I'll go forward with posting a full rules set and opening up signups for pilots and teams. Thanks!
