I vote for classic, even though I feel that both Clan Jade Falcon and Smoke Jaguar would benefit from a halfway design between the two approaches, as the classic leaves also something to be desired.

Interesting how we now get to see more detail in the Jade Falcon lower portion.

But I'll have to go with the traditional.

I actually liked the new ones, before I compared them to the revised house sigils from "A Song of Ice and Fire" to the sigils in "Game of Thrones".

I am with the others: Torn, but good job on putting this out here! =)

- The Jade falcon looks better in the new than it ever did.
- I love the new Smoke Jaguar, I could maybe more, if it was a little more grey in the shade(the jaguar) than the black, but I still like it more than the original.(I can't decide on this)
- With the wolf.... I am torn. I might bend over to the classic though, if the eye in the new might be more in line with the classic, I could select it but now; the classic.

I am very torn on this I love the way the new styling is, new game new style, but I thought that it was executed poorly for some of them.
My thoughts:

• Clan Wolf - Great style, looks fearsome, and still pays homage to the original. My biggest issues are the eye looks out of place and creepy (name one dog/wolf that looks sideways when they bare their teeth) and the six stars are easily drowned out in it. Old background with new Wolf (with the eyes fixed) would be the way to go for me.
  
• Clan Ghost Bear - Good idea going for the realistic bear but the problem is that all of the detail is lost when shrunken down making it look deformed. The original was better because it was simpler so again a mix would greatly improve this.
  
• Clan Jade Falcon - Looks like a soaring bird with a sword, except as someone pointed out and I believe that they are correct, the left leg (right side) looks like it is connecting to the wing instead of the body. Just a bad perspective and an easy fix.
  
• Clan Smoke Jaguar - First off, the Clan's Totem color is a dark grey not black. Second, why make it jump to the side? The original looked fiercer because it looked like it was about to pounce on you. If it was designed jumping at the viewer with a dark grey color but all the extra detail of the new design then I think that people would have liked it more.

Niko, is there any way to throw a second vote up, asking if we would like the new designs over the originals if they were re-done?

Tough call. I love the curled, snarling lips on the Wolf, but the Classic ones are. . . well, classic.

Can't we have both in-game, and choose which one we want?

Can't you have us vote individually on which logo to keep? That touched up old Jade Falcons, looks really naff even without being compared to the new one.

I mean come on old Jade Falcon looks like a god damn parrot or even a damn pigeon. Let us vote individually on the designs not all or nothing, that just guarantees the old designs win due to MWOs tiny appeal.

Can't vote a series because in my opinion the old logos of clan Ghost Bear and Clan Jade Falcon are better and the new logos of Clan Wolf and without any doubt the new logo of Clan Smoke Jaguar are better.

I don't understand why PGI would poll people on these forums. Weren't we previously told that the forums only represent a tiny slice of the player base and it isn't PGI's target demographic?

Voting Classic/Proposed; but reluctantly.

I like the Classic Wolf and Ghost Bear substantially more. However, the New/Revised Jade Falcon and Smoke Jaguar are incredibly sexy, making this difficult.

I settled on Classic/Proposed because while I like the new Jade Falcon/Smoke Jaguar images, the "Classic" ones fit better alongside the Inner Sphere sigils we have now. As such, I feel art direction is better served with the Classics.

Abstention
I will go with the rule of the majority.
I could see the major redesigned logos for forums barracks and flags(T-Shirts).
But on military equipment (Mechs) I think the more classic logos are more appropriate.
