Animal sounds would be cool, generic casio keyboard, not so much.
i was still hoping the jester would get manic / sinister laughter, it needs it really. Every time i get legged by one in a raven it looks at me with that silly grin "Aww, little birdy can't fly away, here, let me 'help' you" *Wubwubwub*

Greetings all,

Why is there nothing within the WarHorns that actually depicts something from the different Clan's Totem animal?

- Do we hear anything from the Wolf Clan and a WarHorn that sound's like a wolf? No.
- GhostBear, where's there Great Bear sound warhorn?

Come on PGI, if your making War Horns that the Clans use in Battle, they are crazy about there Totem animals. Enough to challenge anyone that even makes a remark about it. And proudly and forcefully present it to any opposition.

This is what we need for these sounds, items that actually identify each of the Clan, and represent after a kill, "This Clan was here".

Wow, 14 pages of spam about warhorns. Who cares? Though I really do hope they're client-side only, there are bigger fish to fry.

*snip*

To sum it all up, we're looking at a module with the potential to cripple a certain kind of build and override a module whose function is exactly opposite Radar Deprivation's own purpose. Non-ECM scouts really needed something like this, but the module is too powerful in its current form to be balanced when allowed on any chassis type.

Working like planned i would say.
If you got an issue lurking, smother it with warhorn tunes :)
Separate threads on modules (influencing gameplay) and cosmetic gadgets would have been too much of a hassle...

The warhorn sounds are boring. I would like to hear something like this:

Working as intended.
They are handing us now the bad warhorns that actually only a few would ever have paid for if they weren't obscured included in the Clan Package, only to charge us later on the cool ones seperatly. You know, the wolfhowling, falcon screeching etc. for MC later...
Actually they pretty well know what we want but that's just the way F2P works...

jeeses mother of god,...
i will try to phrase this very politely,... moral upper ground etc,...
but,..

it's just HIDIOUS
i find it offending to give this as extra bonus content for people who spend money on full packs and should be regarded as 'good customers who deserve a little extra'

it would be psychological warfare tactics if we can have this sound blaring ONLY in the enemies' cockpit and not ours.
can we have this option please?

Give me the Reaper Sound "BWAAAAAAAAAAA!" and I'm sold.

We are the vanguard of your destruction.

I mean I'm really trying hard to only say that...
Its hard I want to say more...

Just make a MUTE option PLEASE...
I Mean I even took the time to type out the word PLZ...
Okay I must stop now or the rant will fallow...

PLEASE have a MUTE option.

I think the warhorns are cool; 100m range is to little though...should be 200-300m. 500m is a bit much maybe..

I think 100m is their way of nerfing them due to community complaints.

I for one think it's perfect in this range. I've only heard about one of each warhorn since Tuesday, and been ok with it. The real "war-of-the-worlds-esque" ones are fantastic!

I like the warhorns.

But the good news is, I don't get that many kills. So it all evens out and everyone is happy.
Wait, this is the forums. Everyone is less miserable, then.

Wish I could have more than just one of a specific warhorn. I hate moving it from mech to mech.

Meh, I don't really care about them one way or the other. I personally would not run them because they take up a fair bit of screen space. But if somebody else who has one does want to run one. GO FOR IT!!!

Eventually I will have to get a couple of clan mechs. Just to have fun with all the QQ going about.
