Those were, by far, my least favorite games based on the IP - but they were still fun (in their own way)

Older mechwarrior games were classified as Simulators, not shooters

Mechassault and MW4 were the least simlike (even above and beyond MWO)

That would be part of MW4 - same mechanics, just with a new campaign

To clarify some on that -the MW4 trilogy was the first to raise the heat cap above 30 (technically the second as one of the Mech2 re-releases brought it up)

Mechassault..... I have a long list of dislikes with MA - starting with the "battle armor" you use and the enforced 3PV.

Don't let my gripes fool you - I loved playing them - but they were about as much a Mechwarrior/Battletech game as the Hero Clicks were.
(try comparing the Hero Clicks MWDA game to the original TT rules - both are fun, but when you grew up with the one, the other is annoying. )

The battle armour was fun it was an enimental really. It be fun to hack the mechs and eject the pilot and the ability to get out the mech was the best! they should have that in MWO!

No, it wasn't actually.

Elemental armor is to big for normal humans to use, that is why the Clans make Elementals so big.

Also - Elemental armor does not (computer) hack anything - they just hack the armor off.

And cod is a terrible game anyway...it lost track and went down hill after black ops...
