Hi

I got a problem that happenes every once in a while.
I play inside a map, and suddently my screen freeze.
The game continues and i hear the sound of the game (like taking shots etc.), but the graphics is stuck in the same position, and nothing moves.
Minimizing and maximizing, opens the game still in the same position.
All i can do is ALT+F4 and close the game.

My hardware is:
GeForce GTX 760 (Tyed to update latest driver, didnt help).
Windows 7 ultimate SP1.
Intel Core I5 4670k
8GM Ram

Game Graphics details:

System Specification: Custom
Screen Resolution: 1920X1080
Windowed Mode: Full Window
Direct X Version: DX9
Motion Blur: OFF
3D Vision Mode: OFF
V-Sync: ON
Damage Glow: ON
Brightness: 1
Gamma: 1

Advanced Options:

All on High
Anti Aliasing: POTAA

Thank you
Dolev

I had the exact same problem, although ever since I updated my nvidia video card drivers I don't think I've seen it happen since. I don't know if it might still be a problem at some point though, when it did happen it was pretty random and annoying.

If you didn't do a clean install to update your drivers then maybe try that, otherwise I have no idea.

EDIT: I just had this happen twice in 1 match so I guess it's still a problem, it might have to do with alt-tabbing before the match because I usually do that real quick before starting any match, like for example I'm editing this post while alt-tabbing (since the game is in fullscreen) while I wait for a match.

Yea i alt-tab too, while i wait for a match, so it might be the cause.
How did it happen to you twice in 1 match?
My match is over once it happenes, and i close it.
The screen is stuck and unplayable, and never continues...

Oh whoops I guess I didn't read the post enough, it's not exactly the same problem but it's similar, my game will just freeze up in the middle of a match but if I minimize it and then return to the game it's fixed.

I have this issue as well.

I am also running a NVIDIA card with the latest drivers.

I used to be able to fix this issue by alt-tabbing out- and into the game again, but as of now, this workaround no longer works.

I just had this in a match. Screen froze but i could still hear the sound.
I opened and closed the Task Manager and could continue with the match.

I get the same thing, about 1 in 5 or 6 matches. Screen freezes but I can actually still move, fire weapons, hear what is going on etc. Can even type into chat and let team know my screen froze (had a friend on who confirmed it showed up).

For me the alt-tab hasn't worked, and typically after about 2 min of screen frozen, the game just crashes to desktop with no error message or other action.

Between that bug, and the 'Connecting' forever after match bug, I need to restart the client about every 3rd match. Which explains why I don't MWO much anymore...

(Win7 64, all updates, latest NVidia drivers, older GTX560Ti card which nevertheless runs all other games fine, plenty of ram etc)
