If i had the chance to try out clan mechs in this test, chances are high i would buy a clan pack today because i would have certainty how they handle.

I'm certainly not the only one who thinks like this. This was a great opportunity to sell more clan mechs. It was.

LoL, I've already mentioned this, but since the numbers have changed why not mention it again? Wednesday Morning the Phase 4 incentive was at 20%, by last night 55%, now as of this morning (8:30 EDT) it's at 65%. So yeah sales due to this PTS/Teaser Video seem to have worked their magic.

Personally I hope we dont hit phase 4 because it will mean more of the worst warhorn sound out of the set rolling around.

12-hour event, starting 11AM PDT / 2PM EDT / 6PM UTC.
living in the UK=UTC=GMT, so 6pm to 6am.

I spend here and there. It's just not nearly on the level that I could be. I have more than enough fun money to buy a clan pack...but the incentive just isn't there. Especially when they are "testing" them, less than a week before the patch that is putting them into the game.

Numbers are moving that's all that matters. If PGI are manipulating them, well it doesn't hurt any of us, but if they are, where is the evidence?

There are plenty of people who've stated they wouldn't buy anything without more information, well allot of information has been released recently, and numbers are moving. Can anyone disprove that this isn't from procrastinating buyers? I have on the other hand seen allot of posts/tweets recently of people stating they've bought/upgraded a package.

Can't help but think this is another marketing fail on PGI's side for only letting people with pre paid clan mechs on, an opptunity to catch a few wavering people has past by me thinks

That's a misconception, anyone can play on the server to,those who have already bought clan mechs have access to them and everone else who has not bouyght will be abnle to use their IS mechs. This is to both test the balance (assuming there are enough IS mechs to get good data) and to let those who have not bought see thewm in action both on the field and spectating in cockpits while while giving those that pre-ordered a chance to use their new toys a little early.
