that said, id rather have another skirmisher than another support mech. Its not that supports dont have their place (obviously) but medium-support mechs seem oxymoronic. why have a medium suport mech when a heavy or assault support mech can do the same job more effectively.
normally i do not support this menatlity, but in the case of support mechs, i very much do. yes, having a mobile fire-support platform in theory allows your whole force to be more mobile, but 8 seconds of sustained fire?
the redesign looks fantastic though!
And the LRMS will likely make me leery of them on the field when im in a scout/skirmisher role...
