Meh. I like the chassis's capabilities, but the visual doesn't work as well for me as some. The missile racks are good, but the laser mounts lack the elegance that most of the previous designs have had - the arm is just ugly and the head is a blocky nightmare compared to the classic 'bucket.

Although another 50-tonner? Why this over the Dervish, that would provide similar capability in a different weight bracket?

A potential lawsuit.

I like the way FD integrated the head into the torso to lessen the "Darth Vader" look. Nicely done.

Very nice work on it. Love everything about it.

The only oddness is that the head doesn't look anything like the original (integrated head instead of articulated head).

Ok, this one is ugly... I mean really awful. But I have to say its still much more better than other trebuchet's designs.

Again, their concept art is fantastic. I don't care if they never come, but he might even be able to make clan mechs look good.

I am stunned that this great looking concept art could come from such a goofy looking 'Mech.

I love the new look of not only this (Trench Bucket, hehe), but all of the other amazing mechs you've put up. Thank you for your wonderful work.

Every time a new mech concept for MWO comes up I visit the MWT page, look at their crapload and be twice as happy about it.
You really made a good looking 50 ton piece out of that misshapen Trenchbucket, thanks a lot!

Like the look, but I'll stick with the Stalker for a missile platform.

Was hoping next mech was a medium with jump jets or a 20 tonner but the trebuchet is a really nice mech as well.

One variant is:

Quote

TBT-5J - The 5J variant of the Trebuchet is a tradeoff that sacrifices firepower for mobility. One of the two LRM-15 launchers have been removed and replaced with five jump jets, giving the Trebuchet a jumping distance of one hundred and fifty meters. Additionally, the armor has been increased by half a ton and five heat sinks have been added to the design. BV (1.0) = 1,034, BV (2.0) = 1,191[7]

Sounds pretty decent, really.

Only thing that bugs me is this: Look at it and then back at Centurion and tell me you actually believe this thing is a lot faster...

CN9-D moves 6/9; 5/8 is the best any Trebuchet variant does, IIRC.

The Dervish has very few variants, which makes it pretty limiting for PGI trying to get as much "bang for the buck" out of each chassis they render.

How come the pilot (team ) in all these stories always gets the shaft? It's not exactly a great way to promote the mech, ya'know? Look at this story of this guy dying in this mech! I know it makes you want it, doesn't it!?
