I also found this mech enjoyable but the size thing ruins it. You guys have a scale constant it is tonage use it. size should REALLY reflect tonnage more. This 30 Ton mech is taller and wider than a 35 ton jenner. a 55 ton Stormcrow is as tall as a 100 ton dire wolf? your models look great, but you scale is WAY off.

I was worried that there would be no good clan scout mechs, but the kitfox has alleviated my concerns.

I ran it only once, with 2ERML, 1ERPPC, 2MG with 1/2 ton ammo and an ECM + 2 JJs.


The JJ + ECM combo offsets its slowness enough that it can actually be used as a scout mech. It also differentiates it from the more firepower oriented Adder.

Plays very differently than the fast IS lights, thats for sure.


I didn't get to try the triple AMS.


This mech is perfect IMO.

I do have one complaint about the size. The other 30 tonner, the Spider, and other smaller mechs are able to fit under the ramps in HPG Manifold. The Kit Fox is just too big to fit under there.

I wish that wasn't the case...it would be very fun sneaking under there.

I did in a private match vs a lrm boating non arty catapult. turning off my ecm of course and me standing still.

A single lrm15 did like 1-2% damage and 2 lrm15s did another like 2-3% damage or something along those lines, basically I ended up with just yellow armor like some one had sprayed me with a medium laser or two.

And it is not just the 3ams they gotta first bap/tag/ppc/narc/uav you first before they even have a chance to throw lrms at your ams.

Didnt try any other missiles tho just lrms.

I did make it once but it took some effort to push myself under, I could have easily been killed in the time it took trying to reposition myself to fit under there.

I am going to build a kitfox with 3AMS, ECM, AMS Range boost modue, Radar deprivation module, AMS overload module, 5 tons of AMS ammo, and an possibly a weapon of some sort.

Then I am going to find one of those LRM boats with no backup weapons and just follow him around for the entire match, repeatedly asking him in chat, "will you be my friend?"
