So? What does $240 get you?

  • LocationStill doing ungodly amount of damage, but with more accuracy.

A fast-ish Assault with buttloads of energy points, which is inferior to ballistic mounts spammed by its older brother.

It gets 3 out of 5 mehs.

It is pretty nimble, twists well, etc. for an assault. I think it would do great as part of a coordinated push. I could rarely stand up to Dire Wolves in it though. Especially once the 2xGauss 2xERPPC ones started showing up.

I had the most success with the Warhawk using 2xERPPC, Gauss, and a targeting computer II.

Played it a bit and it's fun. But it's also an energy boat in a game where ballistics are king.

I liked it.

Compared to the Inny Sphere Trial mechs ive been driving, loved it.

4 ER PPCs, 20DHS+7 more lol. Maxed armor, which was all of like 8 points...

Got on Terra Therma and was dishing out heaps of damage, despite the shutting down....just playing more defensive.

Chain firing the guns, I was able to get a fairly good sustained RoF. Dealt more dmg in 3 matches then I had in all my 30 previous combined. Got like 506, 698, 331. I died in 2 games, got 3 kills, 13 assists, was blowing components off left and right. Made this game alot more enjoyable to be in a half way decent mech.

Agility seems workable. Armor is heavy and survivable.

I think its a keeper. Ofc, imma just have ot wait and see how I end up doing on Live. Test always seems to end up going better then live.

I give it 4/5 mehs :) Only more pod options would make me give it 5. Oh, and the ability to further customize camo options.

Yeah, forgot about that. Best to switch that out for 2 more DHS bringing you up to 25. Oh well, 23 handled the 2 ER PPCs pretty well so when the functionality is added that may be a good trade.

This is actually one of the mechs I'm looking forward to, it seems overshadowed by the Ballistics of the Dire Wolf and the outright amazing-ness of the Timber Wolf.

With that out of the way though, its an 85 ton mech - looks to be somewhere in Battlemaster/Stalker hybrid territory.

Except it has a 340 XL that a Stalker wishes it could run for almost 5 tons cheaper than what most Stalkers do run, and also won't see it destroyed by losing a side torso.

Unfortunately I couldn't get onto test, but I think that you should be able to configure the pods to have 2x ballistics, one in each arm.
