hello i am a new player to the game this time makes it my 2nd time trying out the game anyways long story short let me first begin by saying i am sorry if there is a thread made about this topic already i am having a hard time finding it but i just thought i would throw my 2 cents in and shared what i learned

i paid for 3,000 mc to buy a mech bay and a atlas and fought in two battles *i fought in battles before and build up xp before* and bought some things to unlock some gear when i was fitting my atlas with other weapons and when i was done and happy with what i could fit on there i hit the check out button got that little bug error message saying i can't do anything with out fixing my load out so stuck i was for about 10 mins trying to figural out what i was going to do and then came up with an idea and this is what i did

1. did a pc reboot

2. logged back into the game after going threw the updater and launched the game

3. logged back in

4. went back to mech lab load out again

5. removed weapons when they should up again that was there the first time before i put my new gear into effect

6. the error triangle icon went away

I believe the error triangle you refer to is a warning for ghost heat due to your configuration. When you equip more than a certain number of a specific type of weapon, you incur a penalty known as Ghost Heat. The triangle lets you know that you have in fact exceeded that value on one or more of your weapon loadouts. Hovering your mouse over the triangle will give a brief bit of information, explaining what has caused the alarm to activate, as an example "Firing more than 2 ERPPC's will result in heat spikes in excess etcetera etcetera...

Nah, I think it was a "critical loadout error"

Every now and then this problem will rear it's ugly head. The easiest thing to do is strip EVERYTHING from the 'Mech (equipment, modules, and armor), save it that way, and then go back and completely rebuild it.

The error is caused by a bug that'll occasionally install two of something in the same slots on your mech (two engines, two modules, extra points of armor... etc), so removing things one at a time until you find whatever item was duplicated can take a lot of time if you don't get lucky and find it early.
