Good to see some lore in a MWO film too. PGI seems to have completely forgot about that part.

I personally would have found it a bit cooler if all the dialogue had been selfmade instead of being blatantly stolen from Freespace and Freespace 2, but that`s the musician that`s had to fight a few lawsuits over intellectual property rights and simply considers it bad taste to rip off other`s work that`s talking.
It also would have made putting on the fromnt page at least a remote possibility. THis way it`s an absolute no go.
Because If they put it on the front page, it constitutes commercial use (advertising), and the use of obviously stolen intellectuial property opens PGI themselves up to a lawsuit from the publishers of Freespace, Interplay. A publisher who, after being "reborn " after their recent (2006 IIRC) bankruptcy, would certainly love to have some more money to help work on the coming Fallout games, and it`s an open and shut case They don`t even need a competent lawyer.
REAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLY bad idea.
And now some of you may understand why fan creations are such a problem for some developers, esp. smaller ones that can`t afford Microsoft`s or EA`s army of IP lawyers.

Eventually. For now it seems more appropriate to focus our resources on development and information, but increased attention to lore and detail is making it's way in there.

I've heard you are hiring...
To prevent the current employees from "wasting" time on trailers, why not hire someone like the user who made this video to make a few more?
Just an idea...

Couple things to say. It turned ok... did not have alot of time to film since at finnish time test was 9pm - 9am. Anyway game looks great and models are stunning (I could use mode imagenary landscapes and bigger backdrops tho). So its easy to make stuff look good.
There was 24 layers with 13 of them video.... its just about to what i can handle.
And yes i did not do musics or sounds by my self but really thats not the point of all this. Its about you to watch and enjoy, nothing more and nothing less. I love Freespace, and my firs love for gametrailers came from Heavy Gear trailer, so thats why those are there. Its wink to you all who notice it.
About lore, i know basics, noting more. But what i know i like it. Films aint documentaries. why should this be? I saw my first mech when i was just a kid, battletech box with book and pictures (maybe the locust one, or some brown mech...). And my favourite picture is that archer being repaired. I think of those things when i do these videos. Do i get mechs right?
