This is way nicer than any video PGI has put out thus far. Great job!

Shame on PGI...this sorta video might have gotten more people to sign up for the clan collections I reckon.

Great stuff, mate! The Descent Freespace dialogue also brought back some nice memories, thank you.

Fantastic Video.

Only issue to point out is that the map of the inner sphere used here is from Interstellar Players 3, which while it depicts the deep periphery, it also shows some very different borders from the time period. The former Free Worlds League is fractured, the Smoke Jaguars are long since exterminated, and even the Crusader Wolves have the Hells Horses riding up their six. A 3050 map would better suit the video.

Besides that, great job. Great voice acting. It really did make me want to suit up and play the game a lot more. It included the key component that this game is sorely lacking in right now: Immersion. Without CW, Single player, or any kind of active story, there's nothing in the game but being dropped into mission after mission, with no goal but showing off on the leaderboard and leveling up 'mechs.

This video has that. A real feel... a panic. It even seems to illustrate both perspectives in the conflict. It shows allusion to a developing story, a universe to be a part of.

Thank god. I'm sick and tired of "Grab Deal".

First there was map of 3050 but it was colored and i noticed map works better if it is simple. It was too cartoony with colors, and black/white version did not help. Also main thing was to see deep periphery, and simply none other map i found had that.

To prevent the current employees from "wasting" time on trailers, why not hire someone like the user who made this video to make a few more?
Just an idea...

Possibly because they can't afford to arbitrarily increase their staff (including both the payroll and administrative costs for extra people) without an increase in income. They've got to use their resources as they can.

May I recommend the Inner Sphere Cartography Society?

Bingo! Thanks.

And need to say that ''attack bit on Riviera is too short, getting alpine and people fighting close to it for filming... just too little time for that. Glad you dont mind.

Because that would be spending money. Really a shame pgi doesn't have the resources to really make mwo shine to all the gamers not just to us few.

Yup possibly.

Possibly those gold mechs (not forgetting about the clan packs) didn't give enough revenue to hire someone to work for a month or 2 and still keep the current staff working on other things...

A quick example: "Possibly" 10 gold mechs would pay for 2 months (or more) of work for some fan to create a few videos.

But then again... I was just throwing them an idea to keep the current staff working on their stuff and get someone for a limited time to create master-pieces like the one on the OP.
Not that I have any idea how much money they can afford to use on that sort of thing..
But to me (and a few others as far as I can see) this is the kind of advertising this game really needs!
