Your estimations are complete nonsense, it's like you can't even open a simple website. Oh wait, you apparently can't. Plus you have blatant inaccuracies where you're counted as a member for even creating an account on the forums as with some other organizations.
The entire "I'm not telling you how I got this!" nonsense only makes you look like an even less reputable source then 'random internet d00d' already does.

No, you're missing the point; the OP claims to have all of this priceless data, we can't see, which accurately reflects the gaming environment as is, when it's really worth less then the sweat of your back. I don't care who has entirely too much disposable income, nor do I particularly care that we were miscounted. Rather, I'd like to have the OP admit his data gathering is subpar at best and cease attempts to claim otherwise and mislead others or I can continue pointing such out.
Remember, children should be seen and not heard.
...Where to start?
1.) First off, concerning Merc Corps: In the
past, he's pointed out that the Mercenary Corps represented were around ~7.24% in the pie chart, and that they were based off data collected (Likely from forum statistics) or data reported, which your corp could have done. A lot of these notes are missing this time, but this is due to the fact that he's using different software due to college licensing agreements, something that a kid in college, with little disposable income, has no control over.
2.) The OP doesn't need to admit anything concerning the quality of his data gathering. There were no guarantees made concerning the quality or the accuracy. He actually didn't even make claims to accuracy, nor did he make claims of "having all this priceless data that accurately reflects the gaming environment".
He simply presented some statistics.he gathered using certain methods, take them or leave them.
3.) While it doesn't matter if he looks like a "reputable source" for data, the reasons the OP have given are perfectly fine. He's staying partially in character when he flavored his first post as an "Anti-Comstar" agent, and he should have a shtick to call his own if he wants to, especially if he never guaranteed anything. Furthermore, I have a very good idea on how the OP obtained his data, and that the data is accurate as far as the statistics for this forum goes... but I can also tell you that he shouldn't reveal his methods simply because they may or may not be considered a violation of this websites Terms of Use policy (And if he's a beta tester, the NDA as well). It's better for everyone if he just keeps these methods to himself. The OP obviously has an interest in netcode, that is all.
At the end of the day, it's fine to question the validity of the data presented. Has the OP presented everything perfectly? Far from it. But he is making an earnest effort to provide something extra to the community, at no cost, and in his free time as a college student with little disposable income, at that.
No, the problem isn't Hawkeye, the problem is
YOU, Sporkosophy, and your venomous tongue (Or keyboard fingers, in this case).
I have no idea where such spite comes from, especially considering you're among a seemingly well-meaning Brony corp that's excited about the upcoming game. Your response wouldn't be tolerated on your own corp's forums, considering the
rules there, and really, it goes against the
for-fun attitude that ELP was founded on.
What I do know is that if this is your typical response to everything... then by wearing that badge in your signature you're doing the fine corp of ELP a disservice, as your attitude is the type that drives away new members looking to join a for-fun merc corp. I know that I wouldn't want to be in company with such negativity on a daily basis.
There's very little left to say on the matter. I do hope you apologize.
I suppose in the end, I'll leave you with this:
If Friendship is Magic, then you, sir, are counted among the most vile and basest creatures of this world.
