Sorry to ruin your 15 minutes of fame. ;-)

I was hoping for 0.000015 seconds of fame.... not 15 seconds thats enough time for a misssle lock.

Thanks OP, interesting numbers.

The users posting on the forums are probably more committed to MWO, so it makes sense they'd buy mostly Elite and Legendary packs. The ones who are not posting but registered would probably buy the Vet or Elite more than Legendary. Since this is just based upon spotting posts, would be awesome to have one based upon a web crawl of user profiles (where it lists that), but that would be a long, painful process to script and actually do it without putting too much load on the web servers.

As an accountant, I am legally required by GAAP to appreciate a good looking chart. Kudos! :)

Wow OP, Nice work, its very interesting to see the stats, in particular (for me) the faction listing, certainly makes me wonder.

WoT info

20mil registered users and a monthly profit in the double digit millions.

No surprise there really considering a Löwe (premium T8 tank) costs small 44€ (in other words almost 60$, so almost same as an elite founder pack), they usually also got the Type and KV-5 which are 28€ each, so that's a small 100€ already and then there are the insane amounts of players that must be playing with premium accounts because there's no way otherwise they'd be capable of funding their T9+ tanks with their absolute horrid playing. (Seriously, there are tons of people that get an avg dmg per match of 350 with a tank that has a gun that does an avg 390 dmg per hit. Nuff said.)

Also, this needs to be updated daily. Hawkeye, git on it.

Haha I would love to, but the numbers don't fluctuate on a daily basis enough to warrant that level of attention. Also, the moderators might not like me spamming away General Discussion lol...though I might update the founders sales here in a minute.

And I think you numbers are low
Better guess would be close to 1 mil in 24 Hours
And as others find MWO, bound to rise as people learn
I was only told it was close by a friend days before the Founder packs where released

This is not a guess. It is calculated directly from the users on the forums. If it is low, then its because people can purchase founders packs without being registered on the forums.

Actually it's not that painful, and not much of a load actually ;)

Good work! shows a certain love for the game to do that much number crunching.

Or a lot of free time at the moment :(

Fortunately its not too much number crunching. My machine slaves do the heavy lifting for me. I just told them what to do, and then I make pies pie graphs with the data

it's awesome to see the support for a game that isn't even released yet. they're making bank on a F2P game. here's to hoping that they deliver the product we all expect. seems like it's going to happen but my skeptical nature keeps me a little nervous...

I am very confident it will be an excellent product. Just unfortunate to see some of the naysayers on the forums. While a small group, they tend to be very loud and noisy and give new users bad ideas about the state of the game.
