Never been that that big a fan of the timby. Felt weird to drive and gun in mw4:mercs. I'll try it out, though, when it becomes a trial mech.

The timber wolf is disgustingly good. If you're choosing between the Nova and Storm Crow you should pick the SC (this is coming from a Nova pilot). I don't really know about either of the 2 light mechs we currently have, they're both easy prey for IS lights unless they're sniping or LRM support. You could try to load up on srms and use them as strikers but I think they're too slow to get you out of danger without taking significant damage. You might want to wait for the Mist Lynx to be honest.

Yeah, the stormcrow is definitely on my "to buy" list. Thanx for the confirm. The Nova does have it's place, but being able to choose the map you drop it on would make it a good choice for many.

Storm Crow and Timber Wolf are the best currently. I am going to hold out for the Mist Lynx for my light and I will probably make a pulse laser Gargoyle for my assault.
