After seeing this i must say i want the Urbanmech in the Game and i believe so do many others.

Its a highly appriciated Classic and i beleive it to be on par with the Locust in terms ov viability.
So cast your vote and show PGI what you want.

You know, I really hate to tell you this, but if I remember correctly, they were working on this Mech design. But yes, I would like to see this Mech in play.

They don't even need to intruduce a lot of changes; no need for 360 rotation (just a 180 degree twist) and the engine deal; just make it theorycraft why it works (could be similiar to Clan Tech in that the CT is fixed).

I want my R2-D2 Hero Urby!

Um yeah?

Would be a welcome addition to the Stock Mech community as well. A UM Lance will ambush/defend in the city maps.

I see the Urban mech as a low budget mech that would be great for behind the lines garrisons or some such. Also as an excellent training mech.

But i think it would really shine on Solaris! Imagine 12 v 12 urban mech bonanza! Or the famed 12 v 12 Unarmed urban mech smash up derby "The Urby Derby!" (added after they bring back collision of course!)

Yes you heard it here first "The Urby Derby!" :)

I'm trying to figure out if that's a dig at my locusts or not. :D

An urban mech would be like playing a legged light mech, and we all know how much fun that is. The AC10 won't make that any more enjoyable. But since the community seems to demand it, i don't mind them wasting time on R2D2. Will be fun to shoot at for 1 week, than no one will play it ever again...

I cried when the Urbie was just an April fools joke, I was all ready to spend real money and everything.

I'd probably get one. I'd never play it, but I'd probably get one nonetheless.

Slower than drying paint (probably only mech I know of that a dire whale can outrun :P) but for 1.5mil its certainly new player wallet friendly.

Maybe one day we will have a tonnage oriented respawn mechanic where people will Die in their Dragonslayer and come back in a Urbie :P
